I have been a Personal Trainer since 2003. After graduating from Gettysburg College in 2002 with a B.A. in English. I began my training career at Equinox achieving Tier- 3 status. I completed certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, and from the American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA) as a post-rehab specialist. In 2005 I began studying with MELT Method creator Sue Hitzmann and have been teaching MELT classes and workshops since 2009. I am currently certified by the National Federation of Personal Trainers and American Heart Association CPR/AED instructor. I have done continuing education with some of the premier educators in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Body Work, and a variety of movement practitioners across the United States. I have been an athlete my whole life participating in Triathlons, Half-Marathons, in addition to studying Boxing and Martial Arts. In 2010 I completed my first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, "Lifestyle and Science of Yoga" under the guidance of Yogi Charu Chandra. I see private clients all over the city and teach MELT at the 63rd and Central Park West YMCA and the Vanderbilt YMCA on 47TH and Second Avenue, and New York Health and Racquet Club on 13th street. I also lead workshops at Exceed Physical Culture on the Upper Eastside.
